1. What services does FIT IN CDC offer?
We at FIT IN CDC offers developmental assessment that helps determine your child’s current condition and skill level. After the assessment, we will suggest suitable developmental plan for him/her and wether if he/she needs therapy. The therapy we provide here at FIT IN is Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Therapy.
2. What age group does FIT IN CDC accept?
We work with children aged 16 months to 8 years old. Early intervention is most effective during this period of rapid development.
3. What is a developmental assessment?
A developmental assessment is a professional evaluation that helps us understand your child’s strengths, challenges, and areas that need support. It includes screening for speech delay, behavioural issues, learning difficulties, and signs of autism.
4. What is ABA Therapy?
ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) therapy is a structured, evidence-based approach to help children with developmental delays or autism improve skills like communication, social interaction, learning, and behaviour regulation. All our sessions are one-on-one and based on each child’s individual needs.
5. How long is each therapy session?
Each session is 2 hours long, designed to keep your child engaged while achieving meaningful progress.
6. My child has speech problems, can I send him/her to undergo ABA therapy at FIT IN CDC?
Yes you may. Do come to us for assessment first, we will then suggest a developmental plan that prioritises speech programmes.
7. Do the parents have to be present during the assessment?
Yes, the parents/parent do have to take part in the assessment. This helps improve the result and helps us understand your child better. We also offer Parent Consultation (refer to next question).
8. Do you offer parent consultations?
Yes! Our parent consultation sessions are private discussions between parents and our therapists—without the child present. This helps you better understand your child’s challenges and how to support them at home.
